Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: New York, NY 10019

Salary/Payrate: $110K-$130K annually plus a performance-based bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!

Work Environment: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 remote

Term: Permanent / Fulltime

Job Description: 

Our client, an international AmLaw 100 firm, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst at their offices in New York City. The position will allow for a hybrid work schedule with 4 days a week onsite, 1 remote, and will pay an annual base salary of $110K to $130K plus a performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the creation and generation of reporting and analytics to help our client evaluate financial performance, business trends and strategic decisions. The Senior Analyst is expected to develop a strong understanding of all facets of our client’s financial performance and utilize that information to enhance the distribution of information throughout the firm.

A strong candidate will be highly analytical, detail oriented, and have a proven track record of improving reporting processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Produce sophisticated financial analyses including insightful commentary to explain the key drivers of performance and variances from forecast
• Create and distribute financial reporting which will be utilized in presentations to management
• Develop a strong understanding of our client’s legal departments, practice groups, offices and clients to facilitate strategic reviews and planning initiatives
• Partner with Business Development, Pricing, Legal Personnel, Accounting and other Business Services teams to enhance reporting and contribute to process improvement
• Assist in the development of department processes and workflow
• Contribute to creation and execution of financial dashboards to help facilitate the flow of information to the firm

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant financial analysis experience
• Knowledge of Aderant Expert database or similar financial management system (e.g. Elite Enterprise) a plus
• Strong technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office-product suite (especially Excel and use of vertical lookups, pivot tables, etc. and SQL Server). Data visualization skills, (PowerBI) desirable
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and analyze multi-faceted problems and recommend solutions in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Comfort in working collaboratively and developing relationships across organizational levels and departments
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as attention to detail
