Job Description

We are seeking detail-oriented Assemblers for a medical manufacturing environment producing various types of medical devices. This is a highly hands-on assembly position requiring exceptional dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive hand assembly work while maintaining strict quality standards. Candidates who enjoy precision work and take pride in producing high-quality products thrive in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hand assembly using small parts.
• Follow standardized work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks throughout production.
• Identify defects and non-conforming products.
• Maintain documentation and production records.
• Work within clean room and controlled manufacturing environments.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and GMP requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow all safety and manufacturing guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Dexterity and fine motor skills for repetitive hand assembly work.
• Experience in Clean Room Assembly and Medical Device Assembly.
• Ability to conduct microscope and visual inspections.
• Knowledge of GMP, SOP, and FDA regulated manufacturing.
• Attention to detail and precision assembly capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in catheter, tubing, syringe, and device assembly.
• Familiarity with batch records, work instructions, and label verification.
• Documentation skills for maintaining production records.
• Experience in packaging and kitting.

Work Environment

The work environment is a smoke-free campus where employees may not leave during short breaks to smoke or use tobacco products. The clean room/GMP manufacturing environment requires seated work for approximately 80% of the shift, involving repetitive hand movements and fine motor skills throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arab, AL.

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
